I read all of the reviews good and bad for this Husqvarna 7021P 21-Inch 160cc Honda GCV160 Gas Powered 3-N-1 Push Lawn Mower With High Rear Wheels (CARB Compliant) and decided that this is the mower for our needs. We have a small 1/2 acre city lot with only a small portion of lawn. The auto choke is marvelous. Slide it all the way back, pull down the operator bar, give the pull start a yank, and you are off to a fresh cut lawn. No messing with priming bulbs or adjusting choke. Awesome is an overused word, but it certainly applies to finding it on a lawnmower.

It is nice, clean, and runs great. You generally can not go wrong with a Honda engine on any piece of equipment. However, you get out of it what you put into it. If you take good care to keep it clean provide it with the necessary maintenance, it will last you a long time.

Reviews/Advantages

The automatic shut off choke actually works, not that a regular one is a challenge for me, but many people never learned the concept of a choke with their cars, so this solves their "know how to use a choke" knowledge gap. I would also like a manual throttle control for those times when you do not need the engine running wide open, burning more fuel and producing more emissions.

Again, I can see they made this mower for people who don't understand or want to fool with any adjustments. The handle is nicely padded, the blade brake should also be padded to eliminate the pressure point it gives to your hands, I will likely add a pool noodle or motocross handle bar pad to mine.

Disadvantages

None. All in all we looked at everything under $400 and this was the best we could find. We've had a self propelled and never again. This mower is very easy to push and it's more comfortable to go at your own pace.

Conclusion

I've had this mower for over a year now and it has performed flawlessly. The Husqvarna 7021P is a 21" push mower with an excellent 160cc GCV Honda engine. This Honda engine is rated at 6.9 gross torque which is on par with, or somewhat better than, most other walk-behind mowers. The engine features a new Easy Start auto choke system that just plain works great. For a cold start you simply slide the choke lever over, squeeze the safety bar on the handle and pull. 

The Honda motor runs smooth and strong. It's not necessarily any quieter than other mowers, but it does have a little deeper tone to it. The large wheels in the back make the mower easy to maneuver, the mower is relatively quiet, and the best part is the easy one-pull starting--it starts up every time! I am very glad I purchased this Husqvarna 7021P 21-Inch 160cc Honda GCV160 Gas Powered 3-N-1 Push Lawn Mower With High Rear Wheels (CARB Compliant) and I recommend it.
